Wood Recovery Team
For a small fee Natural Resources Recovery will come pick up
your pallets, crating and untreated, unpainted scrap wood. The
material needs to be stacked so that it may be loaded with a forklift.
We will not accept painted, pressure treated wood or material
with large bolts or metal plates attached. All paper and plastic
needs to be removed.
Commercial Composting
The Solway facility is the first fully permitted composting facility
in the state. We are permitted to accept all types of solid and
liquid organic wastes. Horse and zoo manures, restaurant food
waste and industrial food wastes such as potato peels and bakery
wastes are a few examples. Natural Resources Recovery can help
reduce the cost and the amount of material going into our local
landfills.
Tire Recycling
Natural Resources Recovery manages the Knox County Tire Recycling
program at our Forks of the River site. Commercial businesses
and residents of Knox County are encouraged to recycle their scrap
tires for a small fee.
Contract Grinding & Land Clearing
With two grinding crews stationed in Baton Rouge, LA, we can help
with any large grinding project. If you use your own grinder or
another contractor, ask us about chip disposal.
